August Member Spotlight: Michaela Vidulich

If you’ve met Michaela, you know—she’s a ray of sunshine + the ultimate Woo Crewer. She’s been riding with us since our very first studio opened its doors back in 2018.

We caught up with Michaela to talk about her journey at High Ride, how it’s shaped her confidence + why she keeps showing up—year after year, ride after ride.

What brought you to High Ride?
“I didn'’t do cardio,” Michaela laughs. “But when High Ride first opened in the Highlands, it was right down the street from me + I figured I’d give it a shot.” Spoiler: she’s been riding ever since.

She started at our OG location + still remembers the little things—like when Scott had to turn on every individual light by hand. “It’s been so cool to see how High Ride has grown, from one studio to three. The vibes have stayed the same, but everything else has leveled up.”

How has High Ride impacted your life?
“Confidence,” Michaela says without skipping a beat. “When I started, I was nervous to even get on the bike. I’d had ankle surgery + didn’t feel strong. Now? I’m out here doing choreography, wooing louder than anyone in the room + rocking a sports bra instead of hiding in an oversized tee.”

It’s not just physical strength—it’s the energy, the friendships + the reminder that showing up for yourself makes a difference.

A moment that’s stuck with her:
“It’s hard to pick one. But honestly? The people. Some of my best friends now are people I met riding here. I’ve always felt welcomed—by the instructors, the front desk, other riders. It’s the community for me.”

How would you describe the High Ride community?
“Fun. Inclusive. Just an overall great vibe. No matter who you are or where you’re at in life, you walk in + feel like you belong. That’s what’s kept me coming back for seven years.”

What would you say to someone thinking about trying High Ride?
“Just do it. Don’t be afraid to mess up. No one cares if you don’t hit the move the first time—just come back. Keep trying. It’s like clubbing meets cardio, but you leave feeling better every time. It’s fun, it’s freeing + it’s totally judgment-free.”

We’re endlessly grateful for you, Michaela. Thanks for showing up for yourself + for all of us—for 500 rides + counting.
