Melanie Schneider

“Take every challenge as an opportunity to grow.”

Melanie tells her own story best:

“In 2014, when I lived in Boston, I went to take a spin class at a gym and the instructor didn’t show. Because there were a dozen of us in the room, I plugged in my iPod (yes, iPod, not iPhone) so we could listen to music. One member (half-jokingly) asked if I could teach the class. I thought why the heck not? So, I got on the instructor bike, ‘taught’ a few songs and was instantly hooked. The next day, I googled “how to become a spin instructor.” I started teaching at a few gyms in Boston and then made the move to Denver in 2019, discovered High Ride, and now here we are.”

Melanie brings the perfect balance of fun and hard work. She’ll have you sprint for 60 seconds, but she’ll also ask politely - “Please!” - and smile the entire time. Her genuine desire to see you succeed is noticeable throughout class as she appreciates even the smallest showcasings of effort, encourages you to keep your head held high, challenges you using a combination of optimism and powerful leadership, and leaves you wanting more, more, more.
